Battery manual

We’ll guide you through the best practices for using your battery to extend its life.

Storage & Care

  • Store battery at 50°F to 86°F.
  • Avoid sunlight, heat, and moisture.
  • Keep them away from children.
  • Do not attempt to open or repair battery.
  • Batteries are water-resistant but can be damaged by heavy rain if left outside for hours. Always unplug and take the battery with you to ensure safety and extend its lifespan.
  • In case of fire, call 911.

How to make the most of your battery

Use pedal assist wisely

Start with a lower assist level and increase only when needed.

This reduces the load on your battery and extends your riding range. The longest range is available at levels 1-2.

Use higher gears

This allows you to maintain a good speed with less effort and energy from the battery.

Pedal as much as you can

Using your own power along with the e‑bike’s motor reduces battery drain.

On flat terrain, use lower power modes to conserve energy. Pedal so that there is always tension, i. e., with clear pressure on the pedals.

Regular maintenance is key

Keep your tires properly inflated and your chain lubricated.

A well-maintained vehicle runs more efficiently and puts less strain on the battery.

Choose routes with fewer stops and smooth terrain

Avoid hilly paths when possible. A steady ride at a consistent speed is easier on your
battery than constant stops and starts.

Coast whenever possible

Build up speed, then cruise without using the motor until you need more power.

This is especially effective on downhill slopes or flat stretches.

Engage the throttle slowly and avoid using the brakes at the same time as pressing the throttle

First, release the throttle, then press the brakes. And remember, apply the brakes smoothly.
