Choose the plan that suits you at account.getwhizz.com. Also, select a convenient pickup location or delivery for $35 (in New-York and New Jersey). Your monthly rent starts when you pick up the bike. When you're finished, cancel your rental plan and return the bike to us.
You can rent an e-bike if you:
• are at least 18 years old
• have a valid US-issued ID
• own a debit/credit card in your name (no cash or prepaid cards)
Note: We do not require an SSN. Sometimes, a refundable deposit may be needed.
Proof of address isn’t required unless:
• your address is out of state
• your ID doesn't show an address
We do background checks on all customers. If you don't pass, we might not be able to rent you an e-bike, or we may ask for a deposit.
Just return the e-bike to one of our locations within 24 hours of your rental plan expiration, during our working hours.

Yes, for the Storm-2 bike, there are several ways to get an extra battery: you can add it through Rent-to-Own, purchase one, or, in New York and Washington, DC, use Battery Swapping.

Remember, your Rent-to-Own plan includes repairs for normal wear and tear. If you add the Protection Plan, you’ll get 50
Park your e-bike in any safe spot that doesn’t block people or traffic.Use bike racks whenever possible, remove the battery, and lock your bike — both are included in your plan.
For extra security, avoid leaving your e-bike unattended for long periods, especially overnight.
If your bike gets stolen, contact our customer support right away. They’ll share its location so you can try to find it yourself.
If you’re unable to locate it, we’ll send a recovery team. The fee is $150, or $75 if you have the Protection Plan.
We offer a Protection Plan as part of your Ren-to-Own subscription for $19 + tax. This plan covers 50% of all repair and damage costs, including common issues like brakes, lights, and cables.
In case of theft or loss, your maximum liability is capped at $500, as long as the working battery is returned. Intentional damage or negligence is not covered.
You have 24 hours to return the e-bike once your rental period ends. Failure to do so within this time frame will result in daily penalties.

Yes, you can — but only using a Whizz-provided charger. For safety and battery health, please do not use third-party chargers.
Charging takes 2–3 hours to reach a full level. But you don’t have to wait — just swap and go!
The swapped battery does not need to be returned the same day. You can continue riding and use it safely until your next swap, based on your schedule and riding needs.
Battery Swapping is available as an add-on for just $49/month, billed together with your monthly bike rental.

Yes, absolutely. You can swap your battery as many times as needed, depending on your riding needs. The service is designed to keep you going without interruption.
You’ll find a new "Battery Swapping" section in Whizz personal account or Whizz app. From there, you can locate nearby cabinets and manage your swaps quickly and easily.

No, battery swaps can only be completed at designated cabinet locations. Swapping is not available directly through Whizz shops.
